The motto. Shared with me by the love of my life. She loved the Italian pop song Si Viene e si by the great Ligabue. She wrote down the phrase on a piece of paper and I taped it to my closet door. An Italian phrase that literally means “You Come, You Go” and it’s really the signature song of this rebirth of Autumn Hollow. It was one of the first songs I was able to write after a long period of not writing songs. The lyrics are littered with real thoughts I was having at the time. I remember actually wanting to tear all the walls down at my apartment because it felt so small, and felt like I had the weight on the world on me. It was also my first tattoo. And something I think about every day. It’s crucial to remember in life, things come and things go. Si Viene Si Va.
